Department of ITAS is divided on these labolatories:- Laboratory of High School Automation;
- Stratum Modelling Group;
- The regional center of automation (RCA);
- Labolatory 119;
Laboratory of High School Automation.
Laboratory of High School Automation is engaged in development and support of System of High School Automation, this system designed for PSTU activity automation.

The Perm laboratory of computer modeling is subdivision of the Regional center of information and the Perm Regional Center of New Information Technologies. This laboratory is located to address: PSTU - auditorium 321, 29à, the Komsomol prospectus, Perm, Russia).

The regional center of automation (RCA)
Our center was formed in February, 2000 and became the successor of the Russian - Austrian fieldbus-technologies studying center. The Russian - Austrian fieldbus-technologies studying center was formed in April, 1997 within the cooperation program between the TU of Vien and the PSTU. Laboratory develops manufactures and building automation systems, using modern technologies in automation sphere, such as methods of real time systems construction and using of SCADA-applications in creation of human-machine interfaces.

"The laboratory 119"
"The laboratory 119" (web-designed and intellectual systems) was formed in April 2004. within the cooperation program between the TU of Vien and the PSTU. The laboratory became the ideological successor of laboratory D'KArt worked on department since 1999 till 2002 "Laboratory" 119 is engaged in researches in the following areas:
- Web-designed enterprise control systems development.
- Websites creation.
- Development of training systems based on virtual reality technologies.
- Development of data integration and transformation intellectual systems.
- Researches in text semantics.
