Partnership and cooperation

The department of «Information technologies and the automated system» cooperate with most of the large enterprises of Perm and the Perm Territory. Moreover the department participates in realization of the agreement between PSTU and the technical university Vien. Students and employees of department pass probation period in institutes «Information technologies» and «Computer technologies» TU of Vien, participate in the projects which are carried out by these and other organizations.

At the same time the department is interested in widening of the partners list on all directions of activity.

Educational projects

The department offers education under the authorized curricula on directions:

Administration of databases Oracle;
Programming databases Oracle;
Real-time systems;
Technologies of construction of intellectual buildings.

The heads of the department plans to organize courses in the near future:

Foundations of SuSE Linux Professional (Novell course 3036)
Administration of SuSE Linux Professional (Novell course 3037 and 3038)

The department is ready to consider applications for development and the organization of courses on a subject desirable by the customer.

Research projects

Department is carrying out the series of research projects on such directions as:

Creation of hardware-software modeling and managing complexes and interfaces;
Development, research and ordering of knowledge formalization methods in various areas of knowledge (creation of models of the phenomena, processes, effects, properties);
Problems of buildings automation;
Development of a web-designed control systems;
Studying and development of technologies and systems for extraction, transformations and clearing of the heterogeneous data;
Modeling of systems.
